Role Overview
We are seeking a passionate Retail Operations Coordinator to join our Retail HQ team in Los Angeles to improve our Retail practices and oversee day-to-day retail processes. In this role, you will support the Retail Manager, Retail Director, and Store Managers. We are looking for highly motivated individuals ready to maintain Los Angeles Apparel’s standards while prioritizing a retail- and customer-focused experience. The ideal candidate has flexible availability and can easily adapt to a fast-paced, industrial retail environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Day-to-Day Operations: Assist in coordinating day-to-day retail operations and ensuring smooth workflow across HQ and all Retail locations.
- Operational Standards: Oversee the implementation of operational strategies and procedures to ensure consistency across stores.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with cross-functional teams to maintain efficiency between retail and other corporate departments.
- Supply Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for supply ordering across all stores, overseeing timely delivery and implementation.
- Standard Operating Procedures: Assist with developing policies, retail manuals, and training materials.
- Marketing & Visuals: Coordinate graphic printing, distribution, and implementation at physical store locations.
- Programs & Promos: Manage promo codes and the BOGO retail program.
- Financial Auditing: Audit POS transactions (including discounts, employee purchases, exchanges, and returns) and oversee store cash handling (petty cash, bank deposits, cash transactions).
- Onboarding & Training: Assist with hiring, onboarding, and auditing employee training compliance across all store locations.
- Store Openings: Provide on-site assistance with opening new store locations.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Experience in Retail Administration or Retail Operations.
- Highly adaptable to a fast-paced, high-volume industrial environment.
- Reliable transportation and ability to travel as needed.
- Based in the Los Angeles area.
- Full-time availability with the willingness to work overtime during critical project periods (such as new store openings).
- Flexible schedule, including late nights, weekends, and retail holidays.
Compensation
Competitive Base Salary + Monthly Performance Bonus
