Role Overview

We are seeking passionate Retail Sales Associates to join our Factory Flea Market location in the heart of South Central Los Angeles. No prior work experience is necessary! This is an entry-level position offering opportunities to learn about our vertically integrated business and retail operations.

Applicants should be highly motivated individuals ready to maintain Los Angeles Apparel’s visual and operational standards while prioritizing an exceptional, customer-focused experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Exceptional Customer Experience: Foster meaningful connections and ensure a seamless store journey from start to finish.
• Styling & Product Knowledge: Act as a tastemaker by learning and sharing product knowledge, highlighting trending items, and offering personalized styling suggestions.
• Rapport Building: Engage in thoughtful conversations, sharing our company values, and informing customers about our wholesale and retail products.
• Store Operations: Maintain high store visual and operational standards throughout the day.
• Inventory & Replenishment: Assist with replenishing the floor (processing go-backs, receiving new merchandise) and manage inventory effectively.
• POS Support: Operate the Shopify POS system efficiently and accurately.
• Daily Procedures: Help with daily store opening and closing procedures.

• Collaborate with team members and store management to strategize for daily store operations and collective success.
• Support new retail associates with integrating into the store culture and standards.
• Partner with leads to identify additional opportunities for retail and wholesale clients.
• Clear opportunities for internal growth within Retail, Wholesale, Marketing, Creative, or Manufacturing departments.

Preferred Qualities (Not Required)

• Bilingual (English/Spanish is a plus)
• Prior retail or customer service experience
• Reliable transportation
• Los Angeles-based
• Adaptability to a fast-paced, industrial environment
• Flexible schedule with the ability to work late nights, weekends, and some holidays

Compensation

Starting rate is $17.87/hour + bonus
